You photograph the front and, if you like, the back. Our own AI suggests the country, denomination and year. You always see it as a suggestion and confirm it before it’s saved. The confirmed coin is then matched in the Numista world coin catalogue.
No identifier is. That’s why the app shows a suggestion you check, and rejects photos without a coin instead of guessing. Worn, dirty or very rare coins are harder; adding the back helps.
The catalogue price per condition (VG to UNC) from the Numista catalogue, in euros. That’s a reference value, not a sale price or an offer. What a buyer pays depends on condition, demand and where you sell.
